DESIGN SPECIFICATION

DESIGN SPECIFICATION
  • EASY FOR A 6TH GRADER TO UNDERSTAND
  • TO INFORM A 6TH GRADER THE DESIGN CYCLE
  • HOPEFULLY A 6TH GRADER WILL KNOW ALL THE STEPS OF THE DESIGN CYCLE
  • IT WILL BE 1 MIN 45 SEC LONG
  • MADE ON GOANIMATE 
  • ANY 6TH GRADER CAN WATCH THE VIDEO
  • IF THE 6TH GRADER LIKES IT HE CAN SAVE IT TO A PEN DRIVE

TEST

  • MY TEST WILL BE A SHORT ANIMATED VIDEO TALKING ABOUT THE INVESTIGATION OF THE DESIGN CYCLE. MY TEST WILL HAVE APPROXIMATELY 10 QUESTION ON THE VIDEO . I KNOW I WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF EVERY 6TH GRADER WHO TAKES MY TEST WILL GET AT LEAT A 7/10 CORRECT ADDING UP TO A SCORE OF A 70%. 


INVESTIGATION REFLECTION

I GRADED MYSELF WITH A 3-4 BECAUSE I HAD DESCRIBED A PROBLEM IN WHICH I MENTIONED ITS RELEVANCE. SOON I STARTED TO INVESTIGATE MY PROBLEM WHERE I SELECTED AND STARTED ANALYZING INFORMATION FROM ACKNOWLEDGED SOUCES. THE SOURCES I HADUSED WERE MOSTLY FROM THE NOTES AND COMMEN KNOWLEDGE FROM MRS. HINOJOSA'S CLASS. I AM NOW STARTING TO GO BACK THROUGH MY INVESTIGATIONAKA MY PROJECT AND FILLING IN ALL THE LOOSE NUTS SO I CAN GET A BETTER GRADE.

SCORING

I decided I wanted to make a video for my design cycle project. In order for me to find a link to a good video making site I went to Mrs.Hinojosa's blog and clicked on the link Create  A Video Tools. Soon after that  I found  GoAnimate.  On GoAnimate I researched how to make a video on this website. What I liked about this one was there were more options on what to do with your video. Not only could you use animated characters, but this website allowed you to upload images and sounds for your video. There are positives and negatives for both sites. On GoAnimate there is more things to use and more ways for your imagination to wander although it takes alot of time and effort to understand and use GoAnimate.
          I decided to go with GoAnimate although it might take longer it might be a much better video or movie. Even though it will take up more of my time.

1. What is the problem you need to solve? Explain to a 6th grader the design cycle.
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world? The design cycle can be used for just about anything in the real world.
3. How will this project serve my community? It will explain to the community the different parts of the design cycle and what they mean.
4. How can my learning help my community? I could teach my community the things that I know and make peoples lives change I guess.
5. How do we live in relation to each other? We are all the same to a certain extent but we have our own ways of learning etc.
6. How does this help others? It can help others go step by step in any process that you are doing.
7. What are the requirements for this assignment? That you know how / what the design cycle is and what it is used for in different accounts.

13. How will you "test" your presentation? I WILL GIVE A VIDEO QUIZ WHERE I WILL PLAY THE VIDEO AND WHILE THEY WATCH THE VIDEO THE STUDENT WILL HAVE TO ANSWER THE QUESTION LEADING UP TO THE NEXT.
